We are looking for an enthusiastic and brilliant executive assistant to join our team. Emerald Financial Partners is excited to open up this new position to help with our administrative and marketing efforts. You would be responsible for answering phones, handling client inquiries, scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

Social media and website maintenance will be the main focus for this position. You must have WordPress experience and be very familiar with Facebook and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements
  • Reporting of A/R, A/P, invoicing, bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and general journal postings
  • Direct interaction with clients and managing client relationships

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • 2 years experience with bookkeeping/accounting
  • Computer savvy; ability to learn new software (Note: Willingness to train the right person on Quickbooks and other accounting platforms)
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Initiates work and undertakes multiple projects on own with success
  • Works well in a team environment with the ability to complete assignments independently
  • Prior experience with CPA firm a bonus

Full-time:  Starting salary $45,000.00
Part-time:  Hourly $25.00-$30.00/hour

  • Creates and edits spreadsheets
  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Settle accounts by reconciling entries
  • Work with Full Charge Bookkeeper and CPA to manage accounts

Qualifications

  • Computer savvy; ability to learn new software (Note: Willingness to train the right person on QuickBooks and other accounting platforms)

  • Initiates work and undertakes multiple projects on own with success
  • Works well in a team environment with the ability to complete assignments independently
